libgoocanvas-dev software package provides development libraries, include files and documentation for goocanvas, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgoocanvas-dev
libgoocanvas-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgoocanvas-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgoocanvas-dev *
You will get with libgoocanvas-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
